Home
I cannot wait to watch old movies at home during the holidays. There are so many to see and the break simply cannot come fast enough. Call me crazy but at this point I find Marilyn Monroe to be far more entertaining than accounting.

Where the Wild things are
“Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it. I answer all my children’s letters — sometimes very hastily — but this one I lingered over. I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote, “Dear Jim: I loved your card.” Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.” That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything. He saw it, he loved it, he ate it.”

Proenza Schouler Spring/Summer 2011
I know that its bit late for any reviews of fashion week, but what can I say? I am obsessed..... and procrastinating. I found these photos of Proenza Schouler Spring/Summer 2011 and at first glance I did not fully appreciated the ingenious of the collection. But then look at those COLORS! The juxtaposition of delicate frills and metal hardwire scream rocker chic. Top it off with bed head and suddenly it's like "yes, i just walked out of bed and I look like a bad ass. Bow down to me now." The contrast of black and white with the inyourface neon just solidifies my claim. These men are gods.

Puddle Jumping
More Super Slow Motion [Water] - 550D from Rickard Bengtsson on Vimeo.
This video makes me want to grab a pair of rain boots and jump in the largest, muddiest puddle I can find. Considering that I am not usually a supporter of dirt, this is saying something.
