Day dreams and Kate Spade

This make me want to run out and buy a typewriter and to reread Breakfast at Tiffany's while I'm at it.

The Curve of Forgotten Things

Elle Fanning: Rodarte's Muse on Nowness.com.

I love where Rodarte finds their source of inspiration - Northern California, Redwoods, the decade of the 70s. It is all interwoven beautifully in their collection.

The art of attitude

I never gave much thought to models other than as cloths-hangers. However I feel that in John Galliano's Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring 2011 Collection the art of modeling, more specifically attitude, contributes more than a form for the designs; it gives them life. I mean lets be real here when wearing 5 inches of puffed fabric on your shoulders you cannot just walk down the street like anyone else. No, you are wearing 5 inch puffed sleeves and you OWN that street.

One red ballon please

The simplicity of this film makes it beautiful. It perfectly portrays childhood wonder in the relationship of one boy and his floating companion. I also admire his sweat pants and would like a briefcase like his please.
